<< I perfectly remember the first time in which I knew Maurizio, I went to have some photos to his creations. I knew neither him nor his work. In half an hour I was carried away from an avalanche.
Flows of words, ideas, strange inventions. In that moment I understood that Momaboma was not only a representative trademark of a product, I was in front of a real philosophy of life... >>

Momaboma strength is: demand unashamedly to be able to do the contrary and show it is possible.
Our feature is not only the recycling of materials: it is the total absence of mental fixity. Inability to have a normal and banal approach with things around us.

<<Everything belonging to the past maintains intact the charm of humanity, imperfection and normality. For this reason I am inspired by every used and lived object able to narrate its history. The emotions given by these materials are mainly visual and tactile, the same emotions with which we learn to compare since the first days of live>>.

The globalisation of markets, the abuses of the Asiatic production, the exploitation of the cheap labour has taken away the charm of new objects. Nothing is priced nothing because it can be made at the half price in the other part of the world where everything is permitted.

For this reason what belongs to the past maintains the charm of humanity, imperfection and normality. Discover again the old and used objects means for us communicate how much value our history has and how much value can be obtained by it.

Nowadays Momaboma is synonym of inventive originality at a pure state with a plus called culture: awareness that creation is not a stroke of genius but the capacity to insert into an infinite history of passion, application, emotions: the history of the contemporaneous man.

The humus for the roots of this creative potential is given first of all by the complete absence of mental fixity, a sort of inability to have a normal and banal approach with things around us. This point of view is reflected in the unique creations.
